FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. What do I have to wear?

A. Comfortable loose clothing i.e a floaty skirt, loose fitting trousers and I encourage students to dance bare foot or if you prefer a soft ballet shoe.

Q. Do I need to be fit?

A. Belly dance is great for increasing flexiblity and is an all round toner. The movements are gentle and you work within your own ability building up gradually. If you have any queries please consult your teacher at the beginning of the class.

Q. What do I need to bring?

A. Yourself, and a drink if desired.

Important note: Joanna has been teaching for over four years and holds a recognised teaching qualification. Joanna is also insured to teach belly dance and complies with all safety recommendations.

N.B If you have suffered from a serious illness or are recovering from an operation please seek medical advice before commencing any new form of exercise.
